Church Ministries

Adventurers

The Adventurer Club is a Seventh-day Adventist church- sponsored ministry open to all children ages 6-9, in which the church, home and school join together to help children grow joyfully in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man. The Adventurer Club is offered to assist parents in making the development of their child richer and more meaningful.

Pathfinders

The Pathfinder Club is a church-centered spiritual-recreational-activity program designed for young people 10 to 15 years of age. Pathfindering appeals to this age group because its program features activities that meet their needs and interests.

Family Life

The over-arching objective of Family Ministries is to strengthen the family as a discipling center. The family was established by divine creation as the fundamental human institution. It is the primary setting in which values are learned and the center for close relationships with God and with other human beings is developed.

Sabbath School

The mission of the Sabbath School is to be a system of local church religious education that builds faith and practice. Based at the local church, Sabbath School builds faith through the study of the scriptures and the doctrines and teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist church. It builds practice through the application of biblical principles of the Seventh-day Adventist Church to the individual lives of the Sabbath School member.

Personal Ministries

Personal Ministries is a facet of the church whose origin can be traced to the beginning of Seventh-day Adventist® history in the 1860s. It endeavors to inspire, motivate, equip, train, and mobilize all members for dynamic Christian service with the conviction that “The church of Christ is organized for service” (Ministry of Healing, p. 148) and “Every son and daughter of God is called to be a missionary; we are called to the service of God and our fellow men” (The Ministry of Healing, p. 395).

Health Ministries

Adventist Health Ministries mission is to demonstrate God’s love by promoting whole person health principles to Adventist church leaders, members and the community at large, assisting people from all ages, gender, and ethnicity in reaching their full potential for wholeness and a productive abundant life. Health Ministry is the gospel of Christ illustrated, the message of God practiced. Without it, the gospel witness is muted; it is merely a theory, and idea.
